Almería airport statistics 2023

27/03/2024

The Almería Airport has published the Report with the date from the year 2023.

Last year, 775,393 passengers passed through the Almería airport, 10% more than in 2022 but still 20.8% less than in 2019. With these figures, it is the airport with the worst recovery after the pandemic across the entire AENA network in the comparison between 2019 and 2023.

Most markets have not recovered pre-pandemic levels. The main deficit is in the British market, which loses almost 120,000 passengers in 2023.

The only three countries where improvements are observed compared to 2019 are Germany, with the start of the route to Düsseldorf that will not be carried out in 2024; France with the line to Paris, and Luxembourg thanks to the increased frequencies it experienced.

The greatest gains compared to 2022 occurred on the line to Warsaw with 31% more travelers, Melilla with 25% more travelers, Madrid and Bilbao, with almost 22% more each destination.
